Baglio Occhipinti Villa is a delightful gem nestled in the Sicilian countryside, with stunning gardens and a well-kept outdoor pool that beckons on warm afternoons. We enjoyed lounging in the shade, while relishing in the fantastic breakfast spread featuring both sweet and savoury options that certainly kick-started our days. Our stay was comfortable, thanks to the well-appointed room, although I initially felt I'd splurged on a pricier option. Thankfully, I managed to switch to a more reasonably priced room that met our needs perfectly. I did appreciate the lovely dining room ambiance, but the fixed dinner menu left something to be desired. While the dishes themselves were great, the lack of choice was somewhat limiting-especially since my husband isn't a fan of octopus, and my aversion to meat and fish balls came into play. We participated in a cooking class, which was a highlight, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. While luxurious, I found the options to skew towards the expensive side. Ultimately, if you're looking for a taste of Sicily without breaking the bank, Baglio Occhipinti embodies a lovely blend of value and charm. Plus, it's pet-friendly, a huge advantage for fellow canine lovers!
